MARBLE FLOORS

Marble and granite floors are certainly the most prestigious of all floors therefore it is very important to protect and take care of them.

Start with MS 0 for lippage > 5 mm
Start with MS 1 for lippage < 5 mm
Use Full Stukko for filling open joints & Cracks
Proceed to MS 2
Proceed with Cyclon 3 (Grit 60)
Check and re-grout all joints and cracks using liquid/ color / transparent stukko to match colour. 2 shade darker stukko to be used as stone darkens on further honing.
Continue to Cyclon 4 to remove grout. To save diamond from wearing off on Stukko you can use Pavelux Or Jumper Black for removal.
Stones have different porosities in different areas. To get uniform Surface Abrasion Beton DM Densifier should be used. This will harden inside the stone and will enhance Surface Abrasion. Also it will prevent cracking on Brittle Stones. Mix DM Beton Hardner in 1:4 with water and wash the floor for 1 hour. Leave for 24 hours before proceeding further.
Hone further with Cyclon 5, 6 & 7.
For more expensive marble continue Cyclon 8.
Use Polish KP 85 powder to attain high & uniform gloss.
Use Polish KP 92 for expensive stones.
Use Polish KMT for Limestone, carara and softer stone
Use Polish Colour for multi colored marbles / color marble mosaics & carpets
